WESTMEAD CLASSROOM, TERM 4:
The classroom at Westmead is a modern, comfortable learning space for young adults.
The primary aim of our classroom is to maintain continuity of each student's educational needs during their hospital admission so that their transition back to regular schooling will be as smooth as possible.
Under the guidance of classroom teacher, Helen Dawson, the students participate in group discussions, one-on-one tuition and independent learning.
During Term 4, Westmead Classroom will be equipped to facilitate Year 12 students sitting their HSC exams.
The students will be working collaboratively and challenged to think outside of the square as they ponder the question ‘When is something worth celebrating'.
