Wellbeing
At The Hospital School at Westmead, we focus on helping students maintain academic progress, support their social and emotional wellbeing, and ensure smooth transitions back to their regular schools or alternative pathways. Our teachers manage diverse caseloads of students with complex needs, creating personalised learning plans tailored to each student. We work closely with families, medical teams, and schools to provide flexible curriculum planning and regular progress monitoring. This approach aligns with the NSW School Excellence Framework, promoting a culture of high expectations, student agency, inclusion, and wellbeing.
