We support their academic progress, social and emotional wellbeing, and facilitate smooth transitions into our school and back to their Census schools or alternative education pathways and meeting their needs where they're at.

Our learning approach

Our teachers manage a diverse caseload of students with complex medical and additional needs, tailoring support to each student’s circumstances in consultation with the Learning Support Team. They collaborate closely with the student’s Census school, medical teams, and families to develop Individualised Education Programs and curriculum adjustments.

Curriculum planning is flexible and responsive, designed to connect with classroom learning while accommodating medical and emotional needs. Time spent with each student varies based on their health and educational requirements to ensure meaningful engagement and continuity of learning.
